For me, I’ve always struggled with getting the recommended 8 hours of sleep. I always found myself waking up at around 3:30 am thinking about something that I need to do the next day. After discovering thisworks products, I finally feel like I've figured it out! I’ve realized you have to start winding down and give yourself some proper me-time. I love dimming the lights, turning on candles, using my favorite nighttime skincare products and then, here’s where the magic happens. I started using the deep sleep body cocoon lotion about twenty minutes before bed and the natural essential oils consisting of lavender, chamomile and vetiver instantly bring me to that relaxed and therapeutic state of mind. 'Do you have a night routine? It’s so important to have a routine to give your mind the cues that it’s time to shut off for the night.
I didn’t always use to be this way, I’d work till sunrise and be all sorts of backwards.
For me, my evening skincare routine is a vital part of my routine. Removing my makeup and SPF fully, even using a detoxifying face mask like this one from @thisworks evening detox clay mask a few times a week. Love how clean and refreshed my skin feels after. The brush applicator is also a bonus!
I’m also a huge fan of essential oils, so it’s no surprise I love This Works deep sleep pillow spray and deep sleep super blend.
I’ve used the pillow spray for years and it helps me fall asleep before I even get into a Netflix show. The deep sleep super blend is newer to me and I love diffusing it as I get into my pajamas and into bed.
